The Leflaive family has been making wine here for 400 years, but it is only in recent years that the luxurious hotel and excellent restaurant, helmed by chef Lionel Freitas, have been established, and now draw gourmets and wine-lovers from around the world. The tasting menus with paired wines might be accompanied by a visit from Monsieur Leflaive himself. The sommelier is, of course, a fount of knowledge.
