Ménerbes resembles a stone ship moored in the heart of the Luberon Massif. A breathtaking view on the Luberon Mountains and Monts de Vaucluse, little streets and squares lined with 18th-century townhouses make for this perched village’s amazing charm. It was home to famous artists including the painters Nicolas de Staël, Joe Downing, Picasso and Dora Maar, as well as the British author Peter Mayle who contributed in the 80s to its worldwide renown with the bestseller ‘A year in Provence’.
