This small pearl, tucked away among the rocks of the Esterel Mountains, is one of the most interesting small coastal towns on the Côte d’Azur and Var. Theoule sur Mer is only 10 Kms from Cannes and 40 Kms from Nice and is therefore easily reached by car or boat. Since medieval times, the centre has been dedicated to fishing and it is thanks to the will of its inhabitants that it has maintained its air of a small settlement, becoming one of the favourite places for those in search of peace and beauty on the Cote d’Azur.
Theoule-sur-Mer possesses superb sandy beaches and a red rocky coast that over the centuries has been moulded by the constant movement of the sparkling waters, forming small bays, portions of paradise for whoever can arrive by sea.

Markets
Every Thursday and Sunday morning there is a market at the Figueirette Port – every Friday in the centre of Théoule.
Organic fruit and vegetables, flowers, hot cooked chicken, a fish stall are to be found together with clothes, material and locally made pottery.
