One passes through Cagnes-sur-Mer on the ‘Bord de la Mer’ road, from Antibes to Nice , just 10minutes from Nice Airport. However stopping on the seafront seduced by the intensity of the colours, it is a pleasant seaside resort with 5km of pebble beaches and a charming little fishing port so typical of the South of France and where many watersports activities can be enjoyed.

Hippodrome de la Côte D'Azur
From the busy sea front with its new pedestrianised walkway, to the authentic medieval town of Haut de Cagnes and from the Renoir museum to the Hippodrome (race course), the town has known how to draw from its historical roots with the diversity of its attractions and its renowned gastronomic restaurants. There are many ‘spectacles‘ in each season – Expo-Flowers in April, Children’s Fête in May, Painting Festival in summer and winter ; Choirs in the Renoir Domaine in July, Medieval fête in August, Youth Book Festival in September, ‘Gourmet’ food show and Fêtes des Châtaignes (Chestnuts) in November.
