Sanary-sur-Mer Town Guide

When you arrive in this picturesque port you will fall in love with this delightful Provençal village.
The Mediterranean atmosphere is everywhere: in the colourful façades, the lively streets, terraces shaded by palm trees and the daily flower market which is held outside the town hall.
From the top of Notre Dame de Pitié there is a magnificient view of the islands Embiez, Rouveau,Pointe Negre, and the red rocks of the rough coastline La Cride.

There is a shoreline path which has been built for those who like walking along the coast and beach lovers will be delighted to know that with 280 days of sunny weather in Sanary, swimming is possible every day from May to October.

Every year the town organises carnivals, evening crafts markets in the summer, and festivities such as Bouillabaisse days, Sardine days and other special events.
